fefu17 Posted January 16, 2022 Author Report Posted January 16, 2022 Some recent photos in action 😄 Front seats had extra padding added by previous owner so couldn't fit original door cards with pockets. They were also missing the headrests. So I found a nice set from a mk2 popular plus and then a pair of now rare headrest pads (from an escort mk3 ghia). Door/quarter cards in the original dark beige colour came from Germany. Martrim/tissens supplied original fabric and vinyl (quite impressed with that) so will go to the trimmers soon 🙂. Still need a soft brown dash to be completely original but won't probably last a month without cracking under Maltese sun. 1 1
BaileyMex Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Looks great, love a MK1 Fiesta 👌🏻👌🏻 1
fefu17 Posted March 18, 2022 Author Report Posted March 18, 2022 Got the seats back from the trimmers and I'm very pleased with the results. It all started when I found an old brochure snippet of how a GL interior should look like and kept hunting the globe for a couple of years until I got all the right bits Still have some minor bits left like painting the 3-point armrests and headrests to match. 2
YellowTaxi Posted March 19, 2022 Report Posted March 19, 2022 I like that a lot, I had one back in the day...a Ghia no less. Rear tyres in the older pics look like Pirelli P6's Shame they dont do those anymore. They was the must have tyres when we was all dashing around in souped-up fords in the 90'S. 1

Yes, one of the rears is still Pirelli P6. It came with the pepperpots and judging by the condition of when I got them, it was probably a spare wheel as it looked like it was never used.
