Ive been watchin the hole lot again,nearly at the end now,my girlfriend actually asked me if i'd watch them again cus she's never seen um,ha,she didnt have to ask again,love um,i do think the sweeney is better though

I bloody love The Professionals and I bloody love The Sweeney too...!!! You cannot beat a bit of fast-paced 70's telly every now and again when men were men and cars sped all over a traffic free London... Check this site out for more on these two great shows (and Minder too!!!)...

got mine from A1 windscreens in York. It was £35 pickup of £45 delivered.

the professionals is quality for sure, i cant help thinking the rs could have done with a slipper in some of the chases !!

Like the Grifter guy im a huge fan of the sweeney the pros and tv shows of that era ,demsey and makepeace ,early bill episodes and minder ,best tv ever made and will never be beaten

A long forgotten show that ran for 5 series between 1978 and 1982 is Strangers that starred Don Henderson as DS George Bulman, its a shame its never repeated.

You can also buy the complete series from Amazon for around £17, i'm too young to remember it but spent some time trying to find Minder/Sweeney type shows to buy and watch also found the drama series Fox from 1980 with Peter Vaughan which is worth a punt too (the only clip I could find is the boxing match so it doesn't give much insight into the show

) . Post up what you think of the clips as i don't know anyone who has seen/heard of Strangers and it would be good to hear what others have to say.

Yep me too watching The Professionals ... I forgot how good it was. All that sideways action in a Capri 3 litre sport and RS2000! hmm. Although think my diving over bonnet, etc days are a bit behind me though as my beer belly gets in the way! lol
