I have a bit of a problem with my m16 calipers, all the pistons seem to be seized, anyone got some tips on how to free them off,

cheers

If the calipers are off the car I used compressed air with a wooden block preventing em to come all the way out, but be very carefull, you can seriously smash ya fingers, I don't reccomend it if there's a safer way

Still on the car.......

Lots of WD4O & some big pliers like this..

Spray W40 on the pistons & bore pull them in with the pliers.

Spray W40 on again and push them out with the brake pedal.

Repeat this till the brown slurry on the ground becomes WD40 coloured, now the rust between the pistons& bore is gone.

Be shure when you push the piston out with the pedal to put a brake pad in the calliper to prevent the piston from falling out. If one piston is out the others won't be pressurerized anymore

Take them off and soak them in a bucket of full fat coke for a couple of days then use a compressor and blowgun to get them out.

As said before, get ready to catch them and keep your fingers out of the way!

ive always done mine on the bench with the compressor hooked up using an adapter i made, they normally need the cases bing knocked with a rubber mallet and they will come out with a bang, best way is to put some wood between them so they both half come out then pop one out and carefully remove the other by hand. new seal kits are a picec of p!ss to fit just make sire everything is spotlessly cllean then lubricate them with some brake fluid.
