trakevlyn Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 I had to put the battery on charge on the escort at the weekend so i popped the bonnet put battery charger on inner wing connected it up and thought i would leave the bonnet up while it charged. I tidied up a bit in the garage turned off the lights and closed the garage door half way down i thought to myself it was a little stiff so pushed a bit harder and it jammed so tried to lift it back up only to realise it had wedged itself against the bonnet pushing it down bending the bonnet stay in half and removing a large chip of paint from the middle of the bonnet I guess ive learnt a valuable lesson that i cant leave the bonnet up and close garage door in future
