Dear "the wife" It's just a job that's all  I am sure that Pete will be fine when he realises how much this means to you cos you have plucked up the courage to come on here and tell everyone ... you do know we have 10,000 members don't you :lol::lol::thumbsup:

As for the 'spenders ... this is a male orientated site so be prepared for some picture requests or blokey comments especially when they all get home from work and have a few Friday night beers :lol::lol:

Welcome here anyway and just make sure you both have the guts to tell each other how you both feel (good or bad) ... keep communicating and all will be well

Oh, and get yourself along to Classic Ford Show with him in June and come and say hello ... you'll be surprised, there are a few of us women on here :thumbsup:

Good Luck both of you :big hug:

Hello "the wife" it takes balls to post what you have on here, even though you havent got any  Seriously though i think Pete was either forgetful or a bit naughty in not telling us the whole story, perhaps he just thought it was none of our buisiness which its not really. Now you have told us a bit more about your relationship and health issues i fully agree with what your saying. As Jo says us blokes will want to see pics of the sussies on you so ask Pete if he will allow some to be posted :D:thumbsup:

I'm a bit late with this but I moved my family from south london to yorkshire for a job, it was the best thing we ever done as for the price of our one bedroom flat in camberwell we could have a semi with garden and garage, but it can go wrong, I ended up losing the job after getting a mortgage and had my legs crushed a month later but I'm still glad we did it, but its a matter of where you BOTH want to live

it's Pete again. I know it's a tough decision and a risk but I suppose i've just been looking at the future as i've got over 30 years left to work and it would be better to be happier at work and earn more money for doing the same job. I've always fancied that side of the country so even if the oppertunity came up somewhere else with the same position and salary I wouldn't even consider it. The job officially goes on the notice board next week so it will be all over soon and i'll just have to live with a missed chance.

i was born in stevenage (a house as they couldn't get to the hospital), moved about 8 times.

i have never left stevenage...

i sometimes wish i'd had the balls to move and trave arround a bit, a get annoyed with myseld for not going but i'm happy in my little comfort zone.

be together and make the disision, stay or go but being a family i the most important thing.

no regrets
