Admin Vista Posted February 21, 2011 Admin Report Posted February 21, 2011 The Powderham Castle Historic vehicle gathering is on the 9th and 10th of July this year and once again we can have the best gathering of classic Fords at the show. This show is easily the biggest affair in the west country calendar and is set in the grounds of Powderham Castle overlooking the River Exe estuary. It's a two day show with cars, commerical vehicles and steam traction engines, lorries etc. Camping is available (with basic facilities). The weekend includes shows and displays in the arena, food, beer tent and evening entertainment. It's a relaxed affair and weather permitting is a great weekend for relaxing in the sun, so come and join us in sunny Devon! Costs remain the same as they have for years, £5 admits one car with two people for two days (sorry, there are no discounts for single day attendance) Camping is £15 per car for both Friday and Saturday nights, and use of toilet facilities (but no shower's) available on site. The closing date for applications is May 16th so I'll be posting the application off early May, all payments must be in by then, payment is acceptable by cash, cheque or PP. Oh and there is one subtle difference on this years application form. They've added the requirement that all club stands must display at least 10 cars on both days. I sent the stand application off this morning mate as they wanted them in by the 16th. I have been able to get extra places nearer the time in the past though so let me know if you're interested. The same comment applies to those people I haven't received payment from.
