My metal framed car port that is!!! I am sitting here watching it go up and down with my Anglia & my dad's car sat underneath it We have already lost some panneling off the top of it.

 

The wind seems to be dying down a bit now, but it was a bit un-nerving earlier. I thinks I will have to get out there "Dukes of Hazard" fashion and move some cars soon, just in case!

And to top it all i come back to find my pushbike blown halfway down the garden, I wrapped it in polythene to protect it from the rain and its acted like a sail

Well, I have had to move the cars - too risky. I have just got back in from cleaning the Anglia. "Why" I hear you ask, well, the pannels have been broken and blown off the car port. While this was happening, all the shite that was on top of them such as moss, mud, tree shite etc. was promptly chucked all over the back of the Angle Grinder

 

It looked like it had been growing in the garden for 20 years

I had a small tree blow over onto the back of the Capri and left it with scratches

on the way home we had to turn around twice due to trees blocking the road

The m6 is closed between J32 and 33 which is the route I go home

On top of that the ring road around preston is clossed. So its going to be fun tonight
