Nick Mexi-cos Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 The orginal old skool sarf London look was 185/60/13 and along with 205/60/13 but the New Old skool sarf london look is 175/50/13
Mick The Cabbie Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 I prefer 175/50's. The overall stance has to be right tho, ie, rim width & ride height etc. Having said that, there's nowt wrong with 185/60's, although in my experience they're more likely to cause clearance issues.
banarama Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 id say 185 60 13,s take the poll. ps at least if you got a punture, you could stick a tube in it
you'll get 10s on that Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 Original South London look was 185/60 13 cause the 175/50 weren't available till the Pirelli P7F in 1984 which is when I bought my first set £80 +vat each if I remember (which I do !!) fitted them to my Revo split rims and put them on my 105e

andy a Posted April 13, 2011 Report Posted April 13, 2011 60's were the way, still are in my book, 175 x 50's stretched over the rims came from the Vee Dub scene and the Euro look, same as the roof rack full of cack... Young uns, they think they thunk of everything, "drifting", yeah, we used to go sideways on 145x12 Stomil remoulds while they were still getting stabbed by nappy pins
