mk1luvva Posted June 10, 2011 Report Posted June 10, 2011 Any of you guys know what happened to the drag car on the saturday, the one where the bonnet blew off, literally. The bang was huge. Think it was a pontiac firebird. The poor guy was out cold for a bit i think. Obviously wondering if the chap was ok. Someone said there was a build up of nos but not sure.

Jiffer Posted June 11, 2011 Report Posted June 11, 2011 I was sat right behind him, he was just about to line up and I was looking at him as it sounded very fruity, the guy who was hurt was one of the bike boys stood next to the car, a good flame and bits of bonnet everywhere
JP. Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 I know four of the bike boys where Dutch as I spoke to them...............in Dutch. It all happened just behind me after I left the lights so I never got a change to see if one of the Dutch guys was involved. My wife told me after what hapened and was glad I just left the lights.
