aden Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 always amazes me how some scumbag has got the nerve to do something like this, and no one sees! problem is u always seem to feel safe at these events, and u forget that theres thieving scum whereever u go these days
Skoty Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 they must of prepared for it!? as that car has a small race full tank which didnt have much in it. and they cant really stop at a petrol station in it? very sad news for Baggsy and the japspeed team. hope it gets found, will probs be in pieces by now.

Skimmer Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Again someone elses pride n joy robbed , Santa Pod is getting a bit of a reputation for this type of thieving it seems to be virtually every biggish event a mate had a pair of 4 barrel carbs stolen from there a while ago and off course then there was the blower for Henry Hirise now a complete and very distinctive car what are the security doing Hopefully the car will be recovered in a not to damaged state fingers crossed
Savvi Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 I went to a Heritage race meet a couple of years ago at Silverstone, someone took a Ferrari by asking the team to move it so he could get out ............. some plonker chucked him the keys and said move it yourself Sad news to read things like this and as said it's spoiling our hobby Although i'll get hung for saying this .... If he had a tracker fitted they would have known exactly where it was going and done something about it, i know it sounds harsh but i've seen that these things work and they are gradually getting cheaper.
SebringRS Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 Apparently spotted around the Milton Keynes area?? Although hard to believe, as it went from Northampton last night, spotted towards Heathrow after, and now back up the northampton area, unless they are very brave, i doubt they'd go back to that area
SebringRS Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 And savvi, i know what your saying with them trackers Even if they are expensive, it will deffo save your bacon when you need it most And whats worth more, a price of the tracker, or your car
fatboycharlie Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 make sure it a good one my van got stolen a few months ago and the trakker was found laing down the road

Savvi Posted June 12, 2011 Report Posted June 12, 2011 I prefer the Cobra system myself, but any is better then none. You can even buy pay as you go ones now and track them yourself or set it up for geo fencing so it text's you if moved from a certain area.
