hi im new here. my names Craige, i have a mk1 escort and had it since i was 15. i see it when i was 13 and said to a mate on my way to school, that car will be mine one day mark my words.,.,. dont know what happened to my mate but i still have that car.

she is totally different to how i got her, a real triggers broom, new floors new chassis, bubble arches, capri axle, 2.1 not tested yet with all the goodies, things are coming to an end now and im getting the finishing touches and im wondering if anyone can help in sourcing the lights that are on the back of matt moores silhouette escorts, they look like mustang light but not quite if you know what i mean. hi to you all.

Welcome mate I like those rear lights, never seen them before but i think they suit the mk1

i looked everywhere and phoned a few times but no reply, will give them a buzz again this week, im just looking for a few things to make mine different as otherwise it will look a poor imitation of a rally spec white bubble arched mk1, although i love my car with a passion i know its not mint and hate when it gets pointed out to me, id love it to be mint but part of the fun is gettin ya mates to tow you in, or use gum to hold some wires together, its where the funniest stories come from. i do envy the minters but im more than happy with my mk1. ill sort some pics soon. im just getting used to the site and am not a massive tech head.)
