Nut and Bolt size guide/chart

Does anyone know of a website or list that can help identify what size bolts you need when needing new ones for a MK1 Escort etc

 

I dont like the idea of paying £20 for a genuine MK1 Mexico Engine mount bolt, where the exact same bolt from a nut and bolt shop would be 20p

Wouldnt mind a copy of that, will be nicking it when someone finds one

 

As ive stripped the mk1, very easy, but im guessing finding every nut and bolt to rebuild it is going to be alot harder

5/16 springs to mind for the engine mounts

I've had a quick look and found the post

 

Would I be correct in thinking the ARB retaning bolts and the engine mount bolts (Xflo)

 

Would both be 5/16 UNC?

 

If so what length are they

I do actually have some old ones in a box of bolts but I'd say about 1" long.

 

I'll have a look when I go into the garage for a fag later if you can hang on.
