Admin Vista Posted January 22, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 22, 2007 How the fook do they get away with just walking off with all the bikes etc?You wait until next week eBay will be flooded with items from the containers Maritime law mate, if it washes up on the beach or is found at sea it counts as salvage no matter who owns it, BUT you do have to register your find and the owner has a right to get it back. If they were to try and register one of these bikes without reporting it they'd quickly find themselves in hot water. Yea, funny that, God forbid someone may actually get something for nothing from the big greedy companies! The government won't like it

Yea, funny that, God forbid someone may actually get something for nothing from the big greedy companies! The government won't like it just because you report what you find to the coastguard it doesnt mean you have to give it back under the rules of salvage, the receiver of wrecks has to register salvage and rights of new owner etc btw i am a coastgaurd officer
