V8ian Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 Tony, aka petrolhead01, an another mate and I broke one of those up on saturday for the engine and box, the engine is destined for a real DroopSnoot Firenza, the gearbox is holding open the barn door, bar a few little bits we binned the rest, What did come up in conversation was it could be an idea to build the next generation Lotus Cortina Mk3, using the backbone chassis and all the running gear and suspension, mount the body onto the chassis, paint it black, Stylalised gold lotus stripe, as per JPS colours and black Lotus badges on the rear 1/4s, certainly would be different

Dont blame me for the sparks, blame the 17stone instant lowering kit sitting in the passenger seat, as for the Flames out of the exhaust, I will have to practice that bit of Rev limiter/overrun/throttle BIG 3 foot flame out of the exhaust
