Due to the wifes mitsubishi breaking its cam belt at the weekend ive had to tax and put the yellow peril back on the road and use it as my daily drive until we can find another car for her. Im loving getting it back on the road but breaks my heart to be driving it on the wet salty roads

Bad news on the cam belt and good luck in finding a replacement as soon as, though as for driving your OSF thats what its all about driving them aint it ?? i drive mine nearly everyday rain sleet or snow even when the sun shines there only cars

What area do you live in ? I haven't seen any salt on the roads yet, hottest winter on record I think, so much for the big freeze

 

Over the last two winters when it was cold and the roads were gritted everyday wheather it needed it or not I used my Fiesta daily and the rot got really bad over those two winters. I strongly reccommend cleaning all the wheelarchs etc every weekend if you've been driving on gritted roads.

salt is a killer mate to the old fords am luckly if you can call it that we live in the country and we`ve been there 10 years and they have only grited once a shit when we have a sharp frost good fun at the same time
