masta-p Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Found it next to another old pear of a zodiac in a quarry near Tongland the front wing has a moulding line and a ford motor co triangle and the chrome strip on top is about a meter long curved(not a bumper) its a4 door with a roof any ideas??
Skoty Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 its a mk2 zephyr/zodiac/consul for sure, the chrome strip is the moulding that covers the rear screen rubber.
joe1600 Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 Second the Zodiac/Zephyr/Consul theory. The age of the badge certainly places it to these cars
Col-ashtonmobile Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 zephyrs and zodiacs had chrome trims on the rear panels above the bumper which makes me think this is a consul as the rear panel is plain !!
w p e Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 looks like one of gpmatrix projects on here sorry gray just had to
masta-p Posted January 31, 2012 Author Report Posted January 31, 2012 think the chrome strip could be from a mk1 consul front bonnet edge lying next to this one
theloudboy Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 looks like one of gpmatrix projects on here sorry gray just had to Na its not far enough gone for graham to be interested in it.
The Transplanter Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 My dad had a MK2 Consul about 37 years ago, and it didnt look much better than that one does now
Skoty Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 Only the zodiacs had the chrome strips on the rear panel, and not all consuls had the chrome over the screen rubbers and bumper overiders id say its a zephyr or consul.
Fiesta Steve Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Fook knows what you lot are looking at, just looks like a picture of my back garden, lol
