rad choice?

want to upgrade my rad in my pinto'd mk1 escort as it is an old 1300 one, whats best ......3.0 capri as i see it has a big header on it.....or 2.0 capri rad????

Some one will recommend a rad that will work with the pinto but if you want to read an overview on radiators and problems/solutions give this a look .

i did the same only cost £105 with brackets welded on for the fan

We've just done a 2.8i one for Pipster with an uprated core in it

 

£88+VAT

 

If you can get a genuine RS one from somewhere like Escort-Tec we can re-core it with a high density core and add a fanswitch boss in the bottom tank so you can control the electric fan just like a modern car.
