pccapri Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Im putting my 302 v8 back together in the next few weeks and want to know what things I should do before I do this. Ive cleaned her up and had a look for cracks and splits etc... im replacing all gaskets, oil, bolts, valves etc... Is there anything else I should do. Ive never had it running as bought it in pieces, she turns over easy. The plan is to do bits in pieces once ive run her in at Santa Pod! Just want to make sure the engine isnt a dud before I spend big money on it.
BIG G Posted April 11, 2012 Report Posted April 11, 2012 take ya time and measure everything twice to make sure all clearences are correct and clean everything then when assembling use lots of oil. just enjoy yourself as its cool when you cross the line in a home built
