Thanks to those that attended Retro Show

Just wanted to say a Big Thank You to the 19 of you that parked up with us on the OSF club stand at Retro Show at the week-end - weather was fine (apart from a shower later in the day) and it was a good day's racing for the 20 entrants of OSFDC

 

The other 21 of you who I sent stand passes to missed a good day .....

Was a good day, sorry we were late Could of been alot later if my speedo weren't pegged on 60 all the way there

 

Can't help the weather, but atleast we still got a good turnout, and got some racing to watch between showers Some tasty motors there too

Really sorry I didn't make it down to be on the stand jo, I was gutted all day long as I was really looking forward to it, but it couldn't have been helped, i'll be there next year for sure.

I had a fab day, most of it on the strip or queing.

 

I wasn't on the stand this year, but managed to bump into a few members along the way. Was really great to see yas & chat, if only briefly!!!!!

 

I'll be back when I get an OSF on the road...too busy playing with other stuff at the mo

I was at the retro show and had a stand pass but decided to put the mex in the show and shine as my friend drove up in my 86 Audi 80 and I had them side by side. Sorry, hadn't planned on having both my cars there when I asked for the pass

It's not everyday both my cars can attend a car show together.

 

 

I had been planning to go up the strip as I've only done it once before but was put off by the head wind as I wanted to beat my pb of 15.2 In the end my friend turned up in his beetle and the rain had stopped by about 4 so we got the last hour at a reduced rate. i ran a 15.6, any one have any idea how much the wind would affect a time?

wind would slow you down quite a bit i'd say, especially head on, spose you'd need to know the speed of the wind and speed you were doing to work it out properly

Dunno if this link will work but heres my race against my mate in his beetle. I had a better reaction time and crossed the finish line first but he was about .3 faster on the printout. Look at the Scottish flag, this was about a 15.7, I wonder if that wind would slow me down by maybe a second. Hope so, haha

gutted not to be there but there still few jobs needed doing to the car the aim was always to have the car ready for this but sadly not

good show was a bit late as m1 was shut but got there in the end

We worked out that because of the headwind we were between 2/10ths-3/10ths down on the day if that helps.
