Do you have a subscription? Not seen the new issue in the shops :(

I believe it comes out on general release in the shops on Thursday :D (I think  )

My postman and magazines dont mix, unless I dont mind trying to stick it all back together once the idiots managed to force it through the oversized letterbox I have

This is why I dont subscribe to mags, even though it meant I missed the December issue as no one around here carried it

I see the sense in subscriptions but until such time as our postie either 1: Retires, b: Dies or 3: learns to post stuff without destorying it i'll just wait and get it from the shops :?

thanks to you all for your feedback, glad you liked the mag!

I was a bit disappointed witha few things that pissed me off. First - is everyones front cover dark? Seems the printers may have over done things on the black ink this month and spoilt the look of the cover? Or are your covers ok?

Also, the white Mk1 RS2000 feature - the tag at the top left of the pages (where we normally write, "sweet 105e" or "mental capri" etc.) - somehow my tag of "stunning RS2000" got changed back to RS Mexico 2000. This is the template we use for all feature designs, then we type into it and change it to match the car. I changed it but it got changed back between sub ed and repro, so bit pissed off there too cos people will no doubt be going, "what the hell's an RS Mexico 2000?!"!

But then my missus reckons i'm just too much of a perfectionist!

Now I'm a bit pissed off, I've just been out and asked for and bought the "latest" issue paid without looking too closely. Got back to work and it's February's, which I've already got! How come the March issue is out in January :(

The cover of my March issue looks OK. The 100e pic is a bit dark in the front section of the car, but it is fully readable and likeable.

Hi Vista, sorry to hear that mate... the March issue shouldn't be out in the shops until Thursday, making it available in Feb not Jan. It's just the way mags work mate, I hate it too!

Coff - thanks for the feedback mate. The copies we get in the office are always a bit darker than the ones hitting the shelves so fingers crossed it's not as bad as I think then!

Sprocket - we have in-house repro but the mag is printed by William Gibbons and Sons who have always done a good job. The repro on this months cover was spot on as I saw a proof before it went to the printers, where I just think the black ink was laid down a bit heavy that's all.

Cheers,

Ben

What I meant by "the pic is a bit dark on the front end of the car", is that the lighting condition at the time it was photographed might have been a bit dark.

But then again, I do not know the first thing about neither photographing nor printing magazines.

Just a little question about measuring time in the UK... why is the March issue published in February, the Feb issue published in Jan, etc? The months in my RF calendar seems to be lined up just fine, so I wonder if you have a different calendar in your office?

It must be a calendar with lots of naked chicks... :)

cheers Ben, just wondered, love the design of the mag, always fancied designing for a car mag, would be a perfect job... If I didn't have a car to build i'd even do it for nothing

Another great issue with some fantasic cars once again and I especially liked the Mk3 Capri feature :)

The 100e was amazing but I culdn't understand with so much attention to detail paid to it why it still had rust patches on it

A good read though :D
