lotusless Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 AA card and mobile phone as my tech knowledge is the square root of F.A. At least your honest Mike I have always carried shit loads with me full tool box / gallon of petrol / loads of spares / rope / spare wire / bulbs / as much as i could really, not even for myself it's just i can't help myself if i see an old classic ( not an MG ) broken down. I used to be a breakdown -recovery driver and old habbits die hard. oh a large cargo net is your best bet to hold all the shite together. Instant lowering kit the more you carry too..
Savvi Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 I got a small Diy type toolkit years ago that has some spanners screwdrivers jump leads etc, also take a drop of oil & water and my RAC card ............. i spent 13 years as an Rac breakdown patrol and soon leant that it dont matter how much you carry you cant always repair at the side of the road, so i tend to carry little now, found a set of points and condensor is always handy and a spare set of leads.
silverstreak Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 i carry spare wheel jack wheelbrace wd40
puddy Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 i havw a ME in my car He didn't ask why it broke down, but what you have to fix it mate I carry a phone, not got ^^^^^^^^ his no though puddy
DAZZA Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 All of the above......... a torch a folding floor mat and Grumpy's telephone number
LGreen Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 Similar to all above, few electrics, wire, tools, spare hose and clips and odd bolts etc and tie wraps. I got a sparco tool bag years ago as birthday present and its perfect to keep it all in and tucks in nicely behind the wheel in standard position in wheel well so you get to have a nice empty large boot space. and it doesnt roll around damaging stuff.
