At least your honest Mike

I have always carried shit loads with me full tool box / gallon of petrol / loads of spares / rope / spare wire / bulbs / as much as i could really, not even for myself it's just i can't help myself if i see an old classic ( not an MG ) broken down. I used to be a breakdown -recovery driver and old habbits die hard.

oh a large cargo net is your best bet to hold all the shite together.

Instant lowering kit the more you carry too..

I got a small Diy type toolkit years ago that has some spanners screwdrivers jump leads etc, also take a drop of oil & water and my RAC card ............. i spent 13 years as an Rac breakdown patrol and soon leant that it dont matter how much you carry you cant always repair at the side of the road, so i tend to carry little now, found a set of points and condensor is always handy and a spare set of leads.

Similar to all above, few electrics, wire, tools, spare hose and clips and odd bolts etc and tie wraps. I got a sparco tool bag years ago as birthday present and its perfect to keep it all in and tucks in nicely behind the wheel in standard position in wheel well so you get to have a nice empty large boot space. and it doesnt roll around damaging stuff.

In the van, I carry a small fire extinguisher, spare battery and some jump leads, mobile phone, some paracetamol and about 10 stone worth of Rottweiler.
