Started watching last night mate and just finished now. It is rather moody when you take a closer look at the details. I've got a 2 and 13 year old and if something happened to them I would be in pieces. Would not be laughing or acting normal that's for sure. It is a wonder why everyone was just strolling about when kids could be dying inside. Too many oddities and questions.

Conspiracy theorists will come up with something for every major event that happens. They're usually the ones that are living in the woods in the US with large gun collections and saucepans on their heads to deflect the alien rays!

Too true . And I've watched a few conspiracy theorists over the years but sometimes there are some parts of an event that don't look right. one bit that stands out is the father of the little girl just before he gets interviewed. That's just one aspect for me.

Perhaps, but blanking something out completely is also a common self defence mechanism when someone can't cope with what's happened, then the first thing they would need to do is psyche themselves up to talk about it on camera.

I'm probably sounding like I'm not prepared to consider that the conspiracy theories may be true, not at all. I've watched many edited video clips selectively put together by such people as in the original youtube footage, I've read the arguments of others etc. I just don't think they stand up. For two reasons

9/11 and the cost of the subsequent war on terror is at least partially responsible for the huge US budget deficit. Who gains from this? Well, US arms manufacturers do of course but that's not who the conspiracy theorists point the finger at. They point the finger at the US Government itself and the CIA. Hokum, no 1st world nation government of the modern age would actively participate in the murder of thousands of its own citizens.
 
The patriot act (if that's what you're referring to) is a necessary tool for intelligence gathering against people who would act against the common good of the people whilst at the same time hiding behind the rights of the innocent in order to disguise their crime. The innocent themselves still having nothing to fear. Al-Qaeda however, they've gained quite nicely from 9/11. In one act their hitherto almost unheard of organisation was a household name around the world, followers flocking to the cause of their "martyrd heroes" whilst their coffers rang with donations from like minded wealthy supporters and nations that sponsored or provided havens for terrorist training camps / selling them weapons. North Korea and Iran for instance. Kind of suits Al-Qaeda for the American economy to be in a mess too doesn't it?
 
Gun control laws? You think Obama wants to murder a whole school full of children in order to get automatic weapons regulated against? Plus, it isn't clear from the video clips that guy has put together whether he's alleging that the whole thing is fake and the kids weren't murdered at all, or the whole thing was a set up and the kids were murdered by the state to get gun control laws past congress. How do you know that the editor of that video isn't another NRA nutcase like that lunatic Alex Jones who ranted at Piers Morgan on his talk show? Perhaps the conspirator here is the man who put the video together? Back to who gains? He does, by discrediting the events and getting people to believe that they were either faked by the Government or worse, carried out by the Government in order to swing public opinion in favour of gun control. If that's the real motive of this video editor, it's worked a treat on you hasn't it?
 
[*:1iult0tu]Secrecy. A secret as enormous as government collusion in the mass murder of its citizens (both 9/11 and 7/7) would be impossible to keep. Someone would crack, the guilt for all those deaths would get to them and the secret would come out. The documentary evidence would fall into the wrong hands or be seen by the wrong person.

But Scott you and any member of the armed forces are told what to do by their leaders who are told what to do by the government so they are just pawns in the bigger picture. I know it's just your opinion and we are all entitled to that, but there is just too much "dodgy" stuff that goes on in this world. Look up the links that Stiggy posted above and not have doubts. you say the videos are "edited" oh so the official government one's are not then ? IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY at the end of the day war is BIG money, money talks and people can be paid off to do or say anything. funny my grandad was a very high ranking soldier and i mean high and he told a few truths about the army and all involved with them and bent was a mild way of putting it. each to there own oh and my uncle john was in the air force for many years and he has told some truths aswell. ill wait for the aliens from area 51 before i'll comment on that but seems theres alot out there saying its true

Actually Neil on that I agree with you. I'm 100% certain that this planet is not the only one in the universe that can support life. The universe is too big for that. However I don't believe that they've already been here and the USAF has a crashed alien space ship in area 51.
