Sort the email notification when someone posts on a thred your involved in or when you get a pm,I know it's already been mentioned but still not working for me

- Update the news on the the home page more often (hasn't been updated for a whole year)

- More Boxhill meets and small local meets , Think there was only 2 or 3 Boxhill meets last year

- As said before new merchandise would be good and make it available at all shows

- Get rid of some of the non active rooms to make it look a bit less crowded

OK guys, we're on it and as you can see, slight changes are being made inline with your suggestions.

The email notification thing should be fixed and we're looking at the navigation bar.

Forums have been condensed and are still a work in progress

New merchandise ideas are being acted upon and should be added slowly to the shop in the near future

The biggest possible change however needs your vote here:

Quick idea don't know if its been suggested before.

What about having a coulple of people representing each region of the uk to try organise monthly meets, shows and events in that area.

This way there would hopefully be a bigger are range of things to do over the uk. People always asking if there is any meets in there are but this could help kickstart one.

I think the site is great and has really helped me get the old skool bug! My girlfriend is a graphic designer and she is willing to help out with logo/clothes design etc..

I would be happy to help out with events and also put on more OSF stands at shows, Ripon classic car show for example is a good day and we could set one up there. I would be happy to do a few of these stands in my area around Yorkshire. I will also sponsor the site to help towards running costs. Cheers Al

I'd like to see a room for peoples other cars and projects :thumbsup:

So would I but I think this has been brought up in the main "future of old skool for debate" ie adding other 80s cars etc, and seems to be considered as thinning down the content.

I have various other projects and would love to share them with some of the great guys I've spoken to on here.

Morning all,

Love the site as it is, one really geeky idea which might only amuse me, is a "guess the car from the part" bit, where you take a picture of the most obscure part of your car and see if anyone can guess the model!!! They don't win anything, just the assurance that they need to get out more. :D

Other than that fairly feeble suggestion, the site is ace.

cheers.

My only suggestion would be some sort of message on the screen when you register for the 1st time saying something like...

Please note, oldskoolford forum caters for Mk1 & 2 Escorts, Mk1 Fiesta's, Mk1 & 2 Granada's, All Capri's, and all Anglias. pop's prefects etc. Just might save a few "Hi, i'm new and have a mk4 Escort/Onion" whatever posts that end up with the awkward reply?

just an idea
