I personally like the forum the way it is, yes I like newer cars of all makes and models, I have a mk1 golf and go on a mk1 golf forum if i had and xr3i i would go on another forum for that, but thats just me.

 

What I do like the idea of is a room for peoples other cars or projects that are not OSF's :thumbsup:

The one night I switch my PC off early and I miss all the hoohaa.

 

I'm guessing a certain someone signed up again under yet another pseudonym? Not the first time and probably not the last either.

Right.................I've found an easy way to decide if you're torn:

Close your eyes and picture an old skool ford windscreen sticker in any of the 'new' cars

 

Series One Turbo........... :sad:

3 Door Cossy............... :lol:

Mk2 XR2...................... :shit:

 

Now don't get me wrong, I love the newer cars and dont suffer with the 'plastic' phobia/tunnel vision syndrome however, I think the others have their own place/forum on Alcoholics Anonymous, seriesoneturbo etc.

 

I couldn't see it taking off on OSF because it just dont fit. It would be cool if it would but I can't see it :(

 

I like OSF the most out of the sites I frequent (Rallyesportescorts, Alcoholics Anonymous, seriesoneturbo), not necessarily because I have a Mk1 Escort but because its full of like minded people with a passion for the same thing.

Go to Alcoholics Anonymous, they have an old skool room, but its not what they really like on there. Theres too much variety, not enough in common with the cars so the forum turns into a load of irrelevant (although often funny) nobrot

 

Im in the market for a S1, RS1600i or 3 door, but i'd still vote NO for bringing it here
