It was right at the beginning of the program, sort of an introduction and only lasted a few minutes.

 

I can't figure out why they were so determined that they wanted a car with 1/4 bumpers, they said it was because that's what they'd fitted to theirs....................but they didn't

That bumper and overiders cost the same as quarters bumpers. I wouldn't have bother with the spots but apart from that it was a enjoyable show. Missed loads out though, where did the new hockey sticks come from etc.

It did look good when done but sold for £11,500. OMG. Have Escort prices gone mad, it wasn't even a genuine Mexico or RS - seemed a bit steep to me. Even the Purchase price at £4,500 was expensive -or is that me way out of touch? Think I need to get my agreed valuation on my 1300E increased. They did a good job by the looks of it and great to see another Escort geting reborn.

Easy when moneys no object but didn't go much on their mix and match of parts( full bumper, lamp bkts etc). Could have made a better looking car for that money though I reckon.

It would appear all we can say in the West Country is YYYYEPPPP!

Most of the mods/work they did to the car were quite good and they did a nice job of painting it but one thing I cannot understand is why spend money on uprated front struts/brakes/LSD diff which all costs a fair bit only to leave out simple cheaper things like suspension bushes which looked worn out?

get it cheap then as the escort had been bidded up to 5100 on ebay then fat bloke buys it for 4500
