Unlike politicians of today, she relied upon her own mind and not that of the mindless. She was the best, unlike Blair who was the unmitigated destroyer of all things British. Lets hope Cameron grow a pair.......RIP Maggie

She didn't do Scotland much good but I was better off with her as PM as I was with Tony Blair. She was a true leader and fought hard what her country.

Send the disaffected youth of today back to the winter of discontent with half of the country out on strike at any time, rubbish rotting in the streets and corpses going unburied. Let's see what song they sing then.

If you want to know who really killed British industry, then look no further than Scargill and his ilk.

Putting politics to one side. A mum and a wife. She stood by her beliefs and was strong when the country needed her to be. Yes she made some bad decisions and yes she made some very clever ones. She was an outstanding ambassador for our country. RIP to the lady who wasn't afraid to stand up and be counted.

i agree, she had balls to stand by her beliefs and got results no matter if people agreed or not........ there is no one running this country today that has the nuts to say what they think and not full of empty promises, this country has gone to the dogs, we use to be strongest most powerful country nobody messed with us........but now we hide behind america with hardly any navy or army GREAT britain my a55! cant even fix the roads how can they fix the country ?

Thatcher was the catalist that made this country what it is today ......a capitalist sham   , and every goverment since has jumped on the bandwagon.

Good riddence to bad (horse) meat.  :shot:
