bomber1 Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 a week or so ago the pinto in my escort started rattling tho i do thrash the tits out of it so spoke to my mechanic m8 today and the answer was. sounds like ur camshaft spray bar has blocked. which means the camshaft is wearing out quick. take rocker cover off and see how bad it is took rocker cover off turned engine over oil coming out off spray bar and no sign of lack of oil rang me mechanic up again he said thats good. are all the springs attached to the rockers me er no 1 had fallen off number4 cyl fixed happy days
