Admin Vista Posted February 12, 2014 Admin Report Posted February 12, 2014 It may be a little early to post this up but forewarned is forearmed eh?The Powderham Castle Historic vehicle gathering is on the 13th & 14th of July this year and is easily the biggest affair in the west country calendar. It is set in the grounds of Powderham Castle overlooking the River Exe estuary (near Exeter). It's a two day show with cars, commerical vehicles and steam traction engines, lorries etc. Camping is available (with basic facilities).The weekend includes shows and displays in the arena, food, beer tent and evening entertainment. It's a relaxed affair and weather permitting is a great weekend for relaxing in the sun, so come and join us in sunny Devon, it was a scorcher in 2013.Costs have not yet been released but I expect they will remain the same (or similar) to what they have been for a few years, £5 admits one car with two people for two days (sorry, there are no discounts for single day attendance)Camping is £15 per car for both Friday and Saturday nights, and use of toilet facilities (but no shower's) available on site.A few more details at this link:http://historic-vehicle-gathering.info/SO, who's going to join me in the west country OSF Gazebo this year?
