Went to see this today, I couldnt bring it home as the current owner needs to fit a new clutch cylinder and get it MOT'd.

Been off the road since 1993. Hopefully picking it up in around 3 weeks, just about time for it to qualify for free road tax

I cant wait, I want it NOWWWW

Off the road for over 20 years?? It looks in VGC to have had such a long hiatus. What's the story behind that then?

Nice find  Tax exempt in a couple of months too!

It was restored and put back on the road in 93 then an attempt was made to steal it so the owner locked it away until deciding to sell it a few years ago. The guy I bought it from owns several cars (mk1 rs2000, a twin cam, a Mexico estate, couple of harriers) all waiting for work to be done. I almost had a harrier off him last year and clocked this one in the back of a garage.

Lucky for me he agreed to sell!

It had a photographic resto in the 90's and had faired quite well although there are bubbles here and there, alloys look tired as does some of the interior trim. Engine is a scholar built stage 3 but its on a dgas carb for some reason.

I'm now waiting for it to be ready for me to collect as it needs the clutch cylinder replaced and MOT. Only had 6 owners too:)

Interesting story. I have a little hankering going on after this one, it's been hiding away for a similar period
