Legal All the cars that take part will need to be roadworthy and most importantly have to provide proof of valid insurance. Insurance certificates must be produced at the ACE cafe from 7.30am or at Pease Pottage services for those of you joining us later on in the cruise. Once proof of insurance is provided you will be issued a pucker L2B rally plaque to bung on your motor as well as an OSF keyfob to wang your keys on. *IMPORTANT* The L2B rally plaque is your entry pass into the Marina so look after it! No plaque - no entry! Timings and Route [The official start venue will be at the Ace cafe on the north circular in north London. Ace Cafe London, Ace Corner, North Circular Road, Stonebridge, London, NW10 7UD Ace Corner is the junction of Beresford Avenue and the old North Circular Road, between the A40 and the A404 (Harrow Road) *IMPORTANT* You need to be there at 7.30am to register and receive your plaque. The convoy will be departing from the Ace at 8.00am! All of those that were brave enough (or crazy enough) to leave from the Ace will travel to our next meeting point at Pease Pottage services in the south London outskirts at aboot 9.30am. A quick slash break and then the full convoy of 100 snorting OSF's will depart from Pease Pottage at 10.00am. We are hoping to have everyone parked up in the Marina by 11.00am I think we are talking about starting to vacate the marina at 4.00pm So there you have it. Here is a simple route card. 1. Start out at NW10 7UD,Park Royal 2. Turn left onto Abbey Road Abbey Road 3. Turn right. Entering Park Royal 4. Continue forward, then merge onto North Circular Road - A406 5. Hanger Lane, bear left (one-way) then 6. Take right-hand lane and turn right (signposted Oxford, Uxbridge) then immediately 7. Keep left, then merge onto Western Avenue - A40 (signposted Oxford) Continue forward onto Western Avenue - A40. Entering Greenford Take right-hand lanes and continue forward onto the M40 at junction 1 (signposted M25, Birmingham, Beaconsfield, Oxford) Leave the M40 at junction 1A (signposted Heathrow Airport, Watford, Rickmansworth, Slough), then join the M25 motorway (signposted Heathrow Airport) 8. Leave the M25 at junction 7 (signposted Croydon, Gatwick Airport), then join the M23 motorway (signposted Gatwick Airport, Crawley) 9. Pease Pottage Service Area (MOTO) M23 10. Continue forward onto the A23 11. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Marine Parade - A259 (signposted Rottingdean, Newhaven) A259 12. Arrive at Brighton Marina Village,East Sussex A259 Here's a map orientated from North to South. Not on the list but interested? If you don't get on the list you are still welcome to join the convoy down to the marina. There is a FREE multistory car park we can use. The 100 paying spaces are for the actual marina precinct. Payment As Jo pointed out earlier the £11.00 fee is non refundable however: There is a reserve list. If you have to drop out for some reason the first person on the reserve list will take your place. That person is under no obligation to pay OSF as we already have space reserved but they may feel obliged to send you a cheque for the fee. This is entirely voluntary and up to you and them to arrange. All 100 entrants will receive an OSF key fob and commemorative plaque! The keyrings you are getting are a limited edition design especialy for the L2B run and we have only received a sample 30. So.....the first 30 people to see me with insurance papers in hand at the ACE will get a keyring. The remaining 70 will be sent by post as soon as they arrive. Apologies for this but it's totally out of our hands.
