mk2 mike Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 Anyone know how long your no claims bonus remains valid after your policy finishes? I sold my Beemer earlier this year as it wasn't being used and I was just paying insurance and tax for it to sit on the drive (bit like the escort lol) so I just went onto the GF's car as a named driver. I had 20 years NCB and don't want to loose it so I might need to buy an old jalopy just to keep the NCB going. I've got 2 years in my head but no idea where that came from! Can anyone confirm or know different? I tried calling my old insurers but was on hold for ages and couldn't wait. Cheers.
SmokeEm Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 It used to be 2yrs but not sure it still is. 1
Admin Vista Posted December 16, 2014 Admin Report Posted December 16, 2014 It used to be 2yrs but not sure it still is. Also what I understand it to be but I don't know if that's an industry wide standard. Perhaps worth asking the question in one of the insurer's rooms? 1
mikehunt Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 why don't you phone your last insurance brooker? 1
