SmokeEm Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 My figure was based on selling on the tyres as I would never use tyres that came on 2nd hand rims, no matter how good they look. I know peeps that feed the rubber on wheels they have in storage and then pass them on as almost new 10yrs later!

l j shaw Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 ive heard about this problem from a few others, but not about it being resolved as yet, even welding a ridge onto the lugs hasn't given 100% positive result.

I have no Idea what my caps are actually off as they came from an auto jumble for £12 for four, the guy thought they were for an Anglia. Three were usable, one was dented, I found the fourth good one on another stall, it came off a "Fook knows, £4" apparently. 2
