Yes (as sure as I can be from the information presented about the car). It's the second one to have been originally built and has been restored and refinished as a replica of the cars that did the endurance speed runs on the Bonneville salt flats in 1954

 

that's a bit more than a Yes / No answer but hey ho

A museum?

Is it the car that was involved in the 1955 le mans disaster?

 

No and No (though it did have a competition life in the US where it was sent directly from new)

RAC Club?

 

 

We have a winner! The Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall, I was there for a presentation by Blohm and Voss and before that started we had a speech from the president of the club that included some info on the history of this car.
