St Electric orange was my first choice. But I'm looking at £5k plus for thst as opposed to £3k for a solid colour. Just can't justify the extra expense! When I were a lad most mk2s (including mine) were primer grey. I still like primer but don't think it would cut it on the OSF stand at shows!

That'll be a long drive, the one in the pic belongs to a guy called Tyler who live in New Zealand wouldn't surprise me if someone's copied the car though

Not the pic you posted up, the one of the mk1 sport.............I know people travel to ford meets but I doubt that anyone would travel from new Zealand, now watch me get egg on my face :-)

M mm mm mm mm. ................let me think about that, Hull or auk land, what's further. Nope no eggs yet. Any way there was a guy on the flux stand who had travelled from Darlington in his s2 turbo, guess that's further than hull too :)

Yeah I know, I have been there several times. I did all my driving courses at Leconfield, nr Beverly, when I had a proper job in the army! So it is possibly the end of the world, but I think that title belongs to the Falklands lol.

Must be me, seem to get plagued with everything first cyclists then caravanners now hgv learners from Leconfield. Must have done something seriously wrong in a previous life! LOL

It's huge, did all my hgv there, old skool, hgv3 then hgv2 then HGV1, and yes in artics. Plus a load of other course, ending with a full driving examiner all classes and motorcycle examiner. ..........oh happy days!

I did consider a wrap but I'm having the inside stripped out so it'll mean wrapping the interior, floors, cage roof etc. think it'll be easier to paint!

If you do choose Signal Orange then bare in mind there are three different ones used on the MKII (in the UK).  Signal Orange 76, 77 and 79.  I think most people go with Signal Orange 79 as that is a bright orangey orange.

Just come back from the shop and saw this in the car park, Mike. Dyno Rod Orange Corvette.

When I pulled up and first saw it, I was all "WTF?"

This was one loud orange.
