Escort Apache 3100 - It lives again!

First firing up of the Apache after having the engine blue printed.

 

I'm not sure if I like the exhaust tone with the stainless exhaust. Maybe remove some of the muffler baffling?

 

Thoughts?

+1 on letting it settle, my new stainless has settled a bit too much, "Keith" sounds proper angry on full chat. Lol

I was the same when I had a twin stainless first on my V6 mk1 esc, I was disappointed with the sound but 30 miles later it started opening up lovely

I must confess, I have never heard of an exhaust "settling in" before. I'm assuming it's something to do with the muffler baffling?

I'm not sure, but years ago I had a Honda Prelude and the stainless system had a "most unpleasant" sound when new, but did settle down. 

 

I must admit that "Years ago" and "Honda Prelude" did co-incide with the first "Fast and Furious" movie
