PeteRS8084 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Just watched it, and yes fantasy pricing for parts used again. Still, it happens every week so guess we should all be used to it by now. 1
skeeter Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Just watched it and I liked it. Good to see some of the work that goes into a rally car that I didn't really know too much about. The car looked like a well sorted motor at the end and the lady got a good deal I think. One of the better episodes for me. Ken 3
Admin Vista Posted September 18, 2015 Admin Report Posted September 18, 2015 Anyone spot that this was the car that was stolen and recovered up North in 2012? http://Alcoholics Anonymous.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/421766-stolen-escort-mk2-rs2000-green-carnforth.html#post5837963 2
DT36 Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 I noticed that it had a GCAT chassis number, yet wasn't an original RS.
mk2 mike Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 My 1600 GL has a GCAT number too. There was a thing on Retards Club recently about GCAT numbers explaining why other non RS cars have that vin. Can't remember why though. Old age kicking in!!
2512pf Posted September 19, 2015 Report Posted September 19, 2015 I had an mk2 escort that was not an rs but on a goat number but it was also led maybe that had something to do with it?
