Paulfosk Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Mk2 rs2000 rally car on wheeler dealers tonight
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Should be good for a laugh then. 1
HotRodMatt Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Oh god no, someone stop them!! 1
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Be interesting to see what they have to pay for it to start with! 2
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Hotrod Matt, would you not take your car to Ed China. He gets every diagnosis right, every job is simple and he cures every problem first time.He is a saint in car repair world or is it a god!........or could be just full of s......t? 1
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 See if the fantasy world of pricing hits the wheeler dealers!
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 You forgot that ed China also does not charge for the hundreds of man hours he puts into these refurbishments. And they also forget to say that they have put on new disks, pads and tyres when it's blatantly obvious. Still Colin I bet you will say it's still going to better than mine as they will probably throw on a badly tuned set of 40s/45s, oh and probably a cam. But it will still be an escort (the car of your dreams!). 1
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 He does all his jobs in one or to shows that equates to two hours at most come on Pete the mans a GOD don't you believe everything discovery channel puts out! 1
HotRodMatt Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Yes Ed China is very very skilful but he is too easily led astray by the handshaking wideboy. Unfortunately he is guilty by association. Lol 1
Paulfosk Posted September 14, 2015 Author Report Posted September 14, 2015 Pretty sure he's a member on here people
XjamesX Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Mk2 escorts are a more affordable classic ford! Ha ha 1
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 No mention of the side draught carbs. Where did they come from? 1
mk2 mike Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 And the bonnet catches. And the alloy door cards. And the headlining disappeared
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Do you think they were telling a few porkies on the cost?
khanlad Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Not seen it yet, but are you saying it wasn't very realistic? Never! Saying that ill still watch it every week!
khanlad Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Im not allowed out after dark, too many strange folk!
mk1del Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Definitely think few parts not included in final price tally, and plenty of man hours all that cleaning, sealing welding and painting not accounted, Good programme, but definitely some Billy bull s--t
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Think she got a good car for her bucks 1
luckyjim Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 As Bob Mills would say 'wheeler dealers-muggy bonehead,For the love of cars-football'...
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted September 15, 2015 Moderator Report Posted September 15, 2015 Not familiar with this show. Is it any good? Anywhere I can download this episode so I can check it out? Thanks
2512pf Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 just goes to show how cheap the more affordable classic fords are, turned out to be a nice car ,the bigman did a great job,and sure you don't see every part go on,or every bit of paint/fabrication as it would take a whole series keep up the good work lads, just keep away from cortinas lol 3
DT36 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 If you have an Android Box connected to your TV, go to TV programmes via the Kodi app and type Wheeler Dealers into the search. Every single episode is there. It's in series 12.
