I was told because it already has

 

15 inch tsw hockenhiem r,195/50/15 yokohama a520,s

 

on it and the rear arches are rolled that it would take 7X13's i suppose i could ask Northampton motorsport to check what size i can fit.

 

Alos changing the wheel size from 15's to 13's and different tyres etc won't this affect the gearing, axle speedo etc etc????

 

Yes it will affect your speedo and gearing, it'll probably make it more accurate as it would all have been set up for 175/70 / 13s on Standard RS alloys.

 

the 15" tyre profile you have has been selected so it doesn't throw it out too much, but will never the less be having some effect.

I am thinking of changing the colour of my MK1 escort does any one know a good place or even someone who would do it privatley in bedford, northampton milton keynes area. I want a full in and out respray with all glass removed hate paint on rubbers.

 

Not "Private" but the guys at Escort-tec(Sussex,a few miles away but you only want to do this once!!)will be able to strip your car out properley to get the best finish and if it does need any parts to finish it off they will have them to hand.

Ask about the steering and wheel fitments,they will be able to help too.

These guys know them inside out,they only work on mk1/mk2's and can give all the advice you need.
