deltamal Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 Iv'e had the Atlas Capri slipper diff re-furbished with new Burton crown-wheel, pinion and bearings by a local guy (Plymouth) but it's a bit noisy on overrun, he is not sure of the exact settings for the set up, so any recommended axle 'set up' specialist people would be appreciated!
colr6 Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 Have heard of after market crown wheel & pinions been crap may be that as against wrong setting up. Found a good guy up here to do axles but a bit far you you me thinks.

I would expect Burton Power kits to be good....The problem with a lot of suppliers it's £ rather than quality, not saying that burton ones are of inferior quality. But it has been mentioned by a few people I know the repo ones not being that good and would rather use good s/hand ones instead.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It is a new set, no back lash as such just a bit growley here and there as if it was meshed a bit to tightly.
