ZetecVan 2.0 Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Morning. Well I took Darren to the football to watch Bradford V Brentford. It was a 1 all draw, and he had to stifle a cheer when Brentford scored.... Then we went up to the local for food and muchos Stella and Guinness, although the barmaid originally said they didn't serve Stella, but with that southern accent we needed a translator. He thinks the barmaid thought he said 'Do you have a fella'. When he finally got a stella, he insisted on having an umbrella in it, but they didn't have any, so he got a fancy cocktail stick shaped like a lady. The picture I sent Jo (which appears to be doing the rounds) he's licking the stick. So, many pints later, we stumbled out of the pub and Darren needed a ciggy, and asked the first person we bumped into, which happened to be Ex-Bradford City and Aston Villa striker Ian 'Stix' Ormonroyd (we live near all the stars). Then during the ten minute walk home, he wanted to get a cab. Not used to walking He still can't get over how cheap everything is, houses, food etc, and that you can park on the street in Bradford without having to pay. He's selling up, and moving up here.

We stopped at every services to top the water up, but got home with no problems. I've not had chance to look at the pump yet, but I'll probably do it tomorrow. It doesn't look dirty in that pic
