Hi guys

Has anyone else had any issues with adrian flux? I have renewed my insurance and i have not got any paperwork, i have rung them twice now and both times i was told they will put the paperwork in the post that day,

I will ring them once more and if nothing shows up i will cancel it and go with someone else.

Was insured with them for two years, had to download my paperwork,

Sold my escort rs and bought a escort van import and they wouldn't swap it over saying they can't insure a unregistered vehicle, so cancelled it and lost £100, but van close to completion and filling form in for registering and its saying I need insurance to register with mot and payment for road tax and registration fee

Work that out

Won't use them again

When i were 18 (just after the dinosaurs and just before cavemen) they were based local to me in Southend, and lets just say they had a bit of a reputation.

Twentyseveral years later, when i got my Anglia, they had by this time moved out to larger premises, so i thought well lets give them another chance.

I had a very enjoyable conversation with a young chap (16 ish i would guess) describing the various modifications on my car to which he replied, "Oh yeah a roll cage, thats sick bruv"   :)

I sent in my 6 photos and a complete list of modifications, which they promptly lost :) :)

plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

I have changed from using them as they always seem to put up the premium every year and you have to argue to get the price down, they also messed me about with the agreed value on the Anglia so changed to A Plan.

I had a very bad time with them to be honest.

Used them back in the day and they seemed very good.

Thought I would give them a try again.  Phone call resembled more of a bartering exercise than an attempt to get an insurance quote. ''how much do you have in mind''   ''If I give you an offer now it only applies right now if you agree this instant''  and so-on.

It was like dealing with a 1990's double glazing firm.

When I explained Im not entering into a bidding battle and that I want their best quote to compare with others the nice man hung up the phone.

Shame but from my point of view a firm that filled a gap in the market and seemed genuine enthusiasts back in the day have gone badly wrong.

I wont be calling them again.
