nosher 64 Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Yess, as usual. with a Capri. Will stay at Eau rouge campsite. We'll catch up with you then..Taking the Capri this year, and staying in a chalet near by the circuit...
Danish Posted June 6, 2017 Report Posted June 6, 2017 Having googled it, yes. But never heard of that before. Yup, we had 'stotties' in the north east. However, I hadn't connected it with the other Geordie word 'stotting' for bouncing (e.g. rain stotting off the ground). WIkipedia claims proper stottie cakes will bounce.
CAPRIRACER Posted June 8, 2017 Report Posted June 8, 2017 Excellent result guys. Sorry I failed to make the display stand on Sunday, my Capri suffered a cracked header tank last week and couldn't be repaired in time. Hopefully I will make it next year...

VivaLaRic Posted June 8, 2017 Report Posted June 8, 2017 Yeah they were Stottie rolls filled to the brim with glorious spit roasted pig! Don't worry I found the hog roast van there but once you've gone stottie then a roll - no matter how soft - just isn't the same. I also found out by happy accident at Ford fair 2015 that mayo on a hog roast is sublime if not devisive.
JP. Posted June 11, 2017 Report Posted June 11, 2017 Next year fellas, next year !! We'll be there again, having a good time 12 months of wrenching available getting it all done to meet up all again.
