Thought I would start with the end of my 2nd shell at Oulton Park, 1989 ( luckily I didn't video the end of my 1st shell as that was my fault  )

This was the end result.....

More to come as I did about 200 races and have around 40 hours of video!

Yeh, thats the way it goes sometimes, I was putting him under pressure and when he cracked he took me with him, what you call a racing accident.

I remember saying all the way home from there, thats it I'm finished no more racing. Of course 3 weeks later the car was re-shelled and I was out again, making sure those Rovers didn't have it all their own way :)

Get em all put up mate that's excellent, driven like they should be

Shame about the end result, but as they say "thats racing", I'm more surprised you did'nt pass out from inhaling all his exhaust fumes you were that close :lol:

Haha...yeah he was getting more and more untidy and missing the apexes.

So you still racing? What you got now?

Well I raced for 10 years and this year I will have been out of it for 10, still have the car in the hope I'll get out again one day. Also have the green one below which I use to blow the cobwebs off on the ocasional trackday.

Whats the spec of the capri??

At that time it was in Road Saloon spec ie. full interior, std. brakes except for lining material, std. wheels, Uniroyals, no LSD allowed, internal engine mods were allowed. So it was heavy, didn't stop, didn't have much grip but had about 230bhp so was a lot of fun :)

Nice one Simon

Cheers Tim :)

Will be adding more as and when time allows, most of the 40 hrs of footage is still on vhs
