Cant wait to get her built up and running!!! Lot of work to be done after hours tho unfortunately! Good job ive got the bug for it again!

Guest street*wise Posted March 3, 2007 Report Posted March 3, 2007 Well, I felt I just had to say the following about Burton Performance: I rang on Monday to order my new carbs and spoke to a bloke called Guy who was cocky and unhelpful ... I came off the phone wishing I had gone elsewhere for them Now, whether it's cos I'm a girlie or not I don't know but he was offish with me i had the same kinda thing, i rang up for a quote on a 'standard' clutch kit for a crossflow and they quoted me £270 for a £50 clutch kit!!!! i dont no if it was cause i was a girl and they thought they'd take me for a ride or what!!! but there is no way i was paying that, my mates heavy duty clutch only cost him £70 quid for his mex! burtons wont be getting any of my money thats for sure!!!

He was nothing but helpful and it was all very straight forward! Me gramps usually deals with Chris and recomends to speak to him!!! Sounds like that Guy geezer is a right nobber tho!!!
