Hoping to go with a few mates if the weathers good and spend some time finding parts i need for my cars winter stripdown ?

The OSF drag racers will be there. Not sure if any none racers got stand passes.

Not wanting to put you off but it started out more like focus fest and over the last couple of years became even more focus focused. Id be suprised if there are any oldskool sellers there? Having said that i could be miles off the mark?

Got to the Pod yesterday at about 10.30 with a mate.

Hes more into the 80s/90s cars.

Weather stayed pretty cool so was glad to be donning my puffer jacket n bobble hat ☺️.

It was about 85% late stuff.

Had a good look round the pit area and saw a few OSFs. One having a powered by Col number plate on it.

Trade stands mostly catered for the new stuff but hey ho, it was a day out with a mate and it stayed dry.

We were sat watching at the start line and saw a Capri go way out of shape towards the finish line. Anybody know weather the driver managed to keep the car from hitting the side walls?

 

And that black Lexus powered transit lol

Overall im glad i went.

That was close !!! [emoji85]. Sure it was Kieran that caught the monza blue escort mk1 doing the same at classicford show, only he hit the wall and did quite a bit of front end damage.

Good to see the car survived it.

Think i must have been stood just behind Kieron as he was filming. At the front of the seating area. There were a few guys down trackside taking vids n pix.
