So how did they test it? By ramming one into the other.

What did they use? A BRAND NEW Espace and a roughly 10year old LandRover Disco.

 

If they used a new Disco, the Espace would at least make an interesting splatter effect as it proceeded to scatter it's self across a 40 foot area.

 

Damn I'd rather get hit by HMS Ark Royal than the new Disco.. The New Disco probably ways more afterall.

:lol: I should point out it's not to scale, the ship should probably be around twice the picture size while in comparison the Disco should be about 1/4 of its current size. Incidentally an Invincible class carrier is a bit of a baby at 21000 tons, the US Nimitz class are around 100000 tons, still I reckon 21000 is enough to see off a Disco

Absolutely safety in numbers eh? There was a French one in the shot too, but Nelson was turning in his grave so I had to edit out the dirty Frog, besides it was on its way home anyway as someone had told the French navy their white flag factory had burnt down!
