Steel wheel

[Mexican Gerbil]

In my quest for Mexico steel wheels I purchased this one early on. When I got it home I realised it wasn't right. So what's it off? 

It's a 5 1/2" 13 steel but without the deep dish. 

Cant find any stamps or markings on it.

I would surmise it’s off a cortina mk3/4 2 ltr, even your second and third wheels are not matching.

The second is a 5 inch spare off the estate and the 3rd is off the mex

Isn’t the fixing for the centre different on early Mexico deep dish steels?

Do you mean where the centre cap fits? Not sure. The 4 spoke alloys are

Mk1 deep dish steels are 4 leaf clover design on the back, mk2 are fixed all the way round

I see what you mean now. Pics of the back of the 5.5 deep dish types. One is very different to the other.

One with the cutouts is a mk1 rim

The wheel that you first pictured with a smaller offset is fitted to my Escort Mk1 Sport.

They are also fitted to the Mk1 1300e.
