I’ve bought a new project!!

The V5 arrived today surprisingly, thought I might have got a letter of them wanting pictures from the DVLA and holding the V5 till it’s complete! This seems to be what many people get? 

The rebuild can go full steam ahead now, car will also be at the NEC in November and thanks to RAY it will be a rolling shell as long as the floor holds together!

Rear axle is now fitted not sure how long floor is going to hold out though 😂

also got front crossmember and tca’s fitted just struts and steering rack and it’s rolling

Yes but the complete floors are easier to fit than trying to get repair panels to fit and look like they haven’t been done

So I'm lead to believe. Wern't available when we started building mine.... neither were the complete inner wings or rear tubs!! List goes on [emoji85]

So reading between the lines you’ve got two front chassis legs, rear spring hangers and a roof🤔...lol .....oh and a logbook 👍

Before I start my car I’m doing this which unfortunately the guy isn’t fitting a full floor so I’m left with making good prob more expensive in the long run! 

Needs floors, chassis rails, inner sills, outer sills, a post repairs, inner wings, upper bulkhead, outer wings, front panel inner and out etc

Car came with repair panels and wants them fitted

Nowt so queer as folk 🤔 would end up a far better job with the full floor option. Would be a no brainer to me rather than fitting 4 pans.

I’ve cut rear seat brace and seat crossmembers out so will lose the welds under those sections still an easier job to put a full floor in as comes with inner sills etc

lower bulkhead arrived

I probably should start a new topic but couple of pics of the 1300 Sport today 

The owner has decided on fitting a new bulkhead luckily 

 

 

New inner wings, bulkhead and upper bulkhead clamped in place, a bit of manipulation and I can start spot welding it back in place

Found a complete steering column for a reasonable price just need to find somewhere to attach it to!

Saw it at the NEC....looks like an interesting car with a lot of rallying history. Looking foward to the build.
