Welcome to the forum Giacomo, post up some pictures of your car

As to original or custom we have fans of both choices and are happy to see either, a car saved is a car saved.

I hope things take an upward turn for Italy soon. #ForzaItalia

oooops.... i must work on my uploading abilities

Are they taken with an I-Phone? I think it's how the phone saves the picture rather than anything wrong with how you've uploaded it.

James has edited them to turn them round

Those pesky mercury switches in camera phones encode the vertical/horizontal alignment in the image exif data.

LOL. The gizmo that makes your phone screen change when you tilt your phone on its side or hold it upright is recorded when you take the photo so when you send the photo out its aligned as it was when you snapped the shot.

All you can do is take some sample to determine how your model phone is aligned but most likely its standard position is horizontal with the accessory buttons like the volume become the top. If you take images different to holding it in that position it will always encode in such a way it appears the wrong way around. For example If you hold the phone upside down from its usual horizontal picture mode and snap the image that way when you try transfer the image it will literally appear upside down when you try to post it. So basically only by taking photos on that one horizontal position will pictures really work if they are sent from that phone. Trouble is that isn't always the best way to frame an image especially in limited spaces like the shots you took. On the fly its hard to train yourself to remember as well. You can post process them on a regular computer and post them that way but that's an extra step. Which is just what I did with your images. I just try do that and also crop certain images when I see angled pics posted to make the threads look neater because its often outside peoples control. So I can lend a hand here but not faceache sorry LOL Dont let it deter you from posting images, people would rather seem them at an angle than not at all and Ill always adjust the odd one if I catch it. Welcome to the forum. I like the silver grey colour of your Mk1.

Good time to work on the mechanicals. Even if its not the original colour it looks too good to change. Please keep safe.
