Its got a new sump, new plugs, new leads, new pipes and belts and will come complete. Loom, Bell housing for type 9, flywheel, clutch mounts, k&n filter, 4 branch heat wrapped ashley manifold, the whole lot. This will be to make room for a new engine. Im based in northern Ireland but have a company who will deliver the engine anywhere in the UK. £1300 ono Anyone interested?

Engine had a lot of external work done prior to me buying it so looks in great condition. Made 88bhp on a rolling road a few weeks ago. Delivered price to UK will be £1300 ONO.

I couldn't find anything similar on any of the old for sale ads on here. Bear in mind this is a complete engine and includes delivery from Northern Ireland. If you could let me know a good price I can adjust the asking price.👍
Johnny Boy Posted December 15, 2020 Report Posted December 15, 2020 I expect the cost of delivery to the UK is very high. As for price, like you, I don't know the "going " price for a nice sorted pinto. That's where Ebay or auction sites come into there own. You get what people think its worth 🤪

This engine has lots of new bits and is ready for an install. If it doesn't go here then I can consider an auction site. Then I'll find out what people are willing to pay. Yes delivery to UK isn't cheap.

At that price though, im not paying shipping costs. Buyer can arrange that themselves.
RWL81P Posted December 20, 2020 Report Posted December 20, 2020 i'd have priced that at 600 quid tops. pintos are still common on ebay. i keep snapping 205 and 202 block bottom ends up for 100 quids. there are dreamers out there though asking silly money.

RWL81P Posted December 21, 2020 Report Posted December 21, 2020 had my block bored the other week to 93mm. 30 odd thou on it, auto. std std crank and the cylinders were perfect. shame to re bore it but its now 93mm on std bearings and cost me 50 quid for the 205 bottom end.

Turned out I had an alloy sump, alloy bell housing and the thick exhaust manifold. Anyway I bought an ST 170 engine today so time to get the bits needed for a conversion! 1
